Information used by this website
When you visit, our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser information, requested URLs, and request timestamps. This website does not contain a rental application, payment form, or customer account database.
If you call, text, or email us, you provide information directly to our team or through your telephone, messaging, or email service. We use those communications to respond to your request. Please do not send payment-card details or passwords by email.
Cookies, storage, and optional services
We store your privacy preference in your browser’s local storage under westore-consent-v1. The preference expires after 180 days. Local storage is similar to cookies but stays in your browser rather than being sent automatically with every web request. If your browser blocks storage, your preference may not persist.
The embedded Google map stays unloaded until you allow optional services. Book online and Pay my bill link to our separate Storable Easy portal at westoreohio.storageunitsoftware.com. Information entered there, including account, rental, and payment details, is handled in that service under the notices and rental documents presented there. Our consent preference on this website does not control cookies on the separate portal.
Service providers and retention
Website delivery and security involve our hosting provider. Optional map use involves Google. Calls, email, and rental transactions involve their respective service providers. This website’s code does not send visitor data to advertising networks or implement a sale of visitor information.
The only persistent browser record intentionally created by this site is the privacy preference described above. The moving checklist is temporary and resets when you leave or reload. Hosting logs and information you provide through external services have separate retention practices; contact us with a specific request so we can identify the relevant records and provider.
